02 — The Range
Eight disciplines, one workroom. We specify, make and fit every element so the materials in a room actually agree with each other.

Floor-to-ceiling drapery in silk, velvet and Belgian linen.

Textured weaves, jacquards and dual-layer drapes.

Light, filtered and quietly luminous.

Open slubs, herringbones and honest neutrals that breathe.

Dense, dimming cloth for bedrooms and media rooms.

Made-to-measure blinds in linen, sheer and textured weaves.

Hand-knotted wool and Himalayan silk.
Objects, lighting and finishing touches.
Cloth & Light
The same window gives you four different rooms depending on what hangs across it. A sheer keeps the brightness and takes away the glare. Linen warms it. Satin returns it to you. Blackout takes it away entirely, which at six in the morning is the whole point.

Each collection is a complete material language — drapery, wallcovering, upholstery and floor, resolved together rather than assembled after the fact.

6 pieces
Structured weaves and composed colour for workspaces. Good glare control, strong daytime privacy and a tailored finish that suits meeting rooms and studies.
05 — Why Richard Decor
We kept every stage in-house — specification, cutting, sewing, fitting and aftercare — because the moment any one of them is subcontracted, the standard becomes somebody else’s to set.

Mills in Como, Kortrijk and Kyoto. Every bolt inspected on arrival, and nothing enters the range below 40,000 Martindale.
Cut and sewn to the millimetre in our own atelier — weighted hems, mitred corners, hand-finished leading edges.
Our own fitters, never subcontracted. Tracks levelled, drapes dressed and steamed before we leave the room.
A designer visits with the full sample library, reads the light through the day and specifies against your architecture.
Fabric, hardware, motors and workmanship — all covered, with service visits included for the full term.
Crated, insured and delivered to 60 countries, with white-glove installation in 14 major cities.
Since 1993 — The Atelier
Everything is cut and sewn on the same floor by makers who have been with us for an average of eleven years. A single maker sees an order through from cutting table to final press, so the hand never changes halfway across a room.
“A curtain is the only piece of furniture in a room that moves twice a day. It has to be built for that.”
06 — Visualiser
Change the cloth, draw the panels, run the light from noon to midnight. Everything you see here is a real specification you can send straight to our workroom.

08 — Testimonials
They read the light in the apartment before they showed us a single fabric. That is the whole difference between a supplier and a designer.

09 — How We Work
A fixed sequence, run by the same team throughout. You will know who is in your home, and when, from the first appointment to the last service visit.
A designer visits with the full sample library, studies how light moves through the room and builds a scheme against your architecture.
Laser survey of every opening, including drop, return, stack-back and any out-of-square we need to design around.
Fabric, heading, lining, hardware and finish confirmed on a physical sample board you keep — nothing signed off from a screen.
Cut and sewn in our atelier by a single maker per order, so the hand is consistent across every panel in the room.
Our own fitters level the tracks, hang the panels, then dress and steam each fold before handover.
Scheduled service visits, motor servicing, re-dressing and repair — all included for the length of the warranty.
No charge, no obligation — typically booked within four days.
